I've entered my first competition. My entry is a historically slanted guide to Bodrum. I'd be extremely grateful if you'd click on the link below and leave your comments under my article on the Expatblog page. There are 80 entrants, so I'm up against some hard competition, but with your support, you never know....

DeleteWe were very much taken with your very lovely tribute to your town. Such a fanciful way to inform others about history. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you - Tried to find a different way to introduce my favourite places.

DeleteI left a comment and am intrigued enough by your descriptions of the area around Bodrum to do some computer research to learn more!!
ReplyDeleteOnce you start to research the history of Bodrum, you will be stuck at your computer for days.
DeleteYou're so right. It's amazing ... you can lose days of your life just surfing Bodrum history

DeleteVery interesting... Lots of ideas for what to do next time we are in Bodrum. And hoping to get there soon now that the weather is improving. Bike is booked in for service on Friday.....
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing you.
DeleteA really super article, Annie and I've said so in no uncertain terms. When's the guide-book coming out? :-)
ReplyDeleteI think guide books have had their day, being out of date almost the minute they are published. I have other ideas...
ReplyDeleteBlogging friends in France have other ideas too...they are thinking of an app for the mobile phone to use when you are in an area to find out what is worth seeing.
DeleteGreatly enjoyed your article Annie (and tweeted for you too : ) - best of luck and keep them coming : ) x Ozlem
