Bodrum Bunting

Who needs flags!

I'm still in an orange mood after my marmalade making marathon. These juicy fruits were snapped in Dereköy on Tuesday, which was one of those Spring days that makes the heart leap with the promise of a new season.  The almond blossom was making its first appearance, the birds were singing and the grass was so vibrantly green that I could have been tempted to graze. I was lucky to be on foot so could appreciate every shade and scent as I walked to my Greek session.

  1. B to B, Gorgeous! Any bird songs? I heard a blackbird singing for the first time this spring a couple of times last week. Just in time for the Great Backyard Bird Count, Friday through Monday, so you'll know what we'll be doing this weekend. Greek session? Now that sounds like fun.

  4. Hmm, I was just thinking this morning about our almond blossom, thinking it should be making an appearance soon. I've just looked and I can see tiny, tiny buds. Always the first sign that we're heading towards spring. :)
