Hello, We cannot stand heights either but they are tremendous views which you capture here. The blues of roofs, sea, sky and hills melt together beautifully.
We already have mosques very close by - this new "mega mosque" is being built in the centre of Bodrum peninsula. I had to stop and take photos as I'd never seen the crescent being put on top of the minaret before.
At least they're in a cradle, not swinging from a rope!
ReplyDeleteNo fun any more, is it.

I have nightmares about having to cross rope bridges over gorges.
DeleteIt did make me wonder how they did it before the invention of cranes.
ReplyDeleteB to B, Because this is Turkey, I'd be willing to bet that the guy wasn't wearing any safety equipment. The mosque looks beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they weren't
DeleteDoes this mean you are going get woken up by somebody singing at early hours in the morning just down the road? Beautiful colours :-)

DeleteArggh, the stuff of nightmares, but such a lovely photo nonetheless. I almost get dizzy standing on a chair.
ReplyDeleteMee too.
DeleteFred Dibnah would have considered this pair to be a right couple of girl's blouses!
ReplyDeleteNobody compares to Fred Dibnah.
DeleteReally loved the turquise blue minaret top - but yes, I'd never dare to climb either!:)
